The DotFM registry is migrating to EPP at the end of the month.
DotFM, which is managed by BRSMedia who are also pitching for .radio, has chosen COCCA's Espresso platform which offers full EPP, ipv6 and DNSSEC.
The DotAM will follow suit at some point in the future, though they have not announced a firm date for its migration.

The schedule for the next ICANN meeting, which is being held in Mexico city, has been published.

The depletion of remaining IPv4 space is not a "sexy" topic, but it's a very important one.
RIPE, which is charged with the IP space for Europe, has implemented a policy change regarding the reallocation of IP space.
While this may sound very technical, what it means is that they're streamlining the process for freeing up and reusing IPs. Of course, in reality, the only longterm solution is to push IPv6 adoption.

The latest one, by Lesley Cowley, Nominet's CEO, covers Vint Cerf's recent visit to their offices and a talk he gave at the Oxford Internet Institute.
As can be expected IPv6 and the depletion of IPv4 was on the agenda.
